Played with Joey. Raining for the first 5 or 6 holes.
Game continues to be good. Greens continue to ruin otherwise good putts.
After going for it on 3rd last week and making birdie, decided to try again from the same place. Hit 3W well, over the hazard, but a touch right. Bounced right and into hazard. Thought I could find it and play it out of the foot high grass, but it was not visible anywhere. Took the penalty, dropped, pitched short, chipped long and got down for double.
Pitched long on 4th after missing green right. Ended in a bogey. A 3-putt bogey on 6th and a fairway bunker to greenside bunker on 7th pretty much ruined any chance at a good score. Overall though, ballstriking was good. Driver strong right now. Need to work on distances from around the green. Not getting up and down as much as I should, but that's also partially due to the poor condition of the aerated greens. I am putting extremely well in practice on the practice green, as the ball is rolling true there. No aeration on that one. Not too worried about putting stroke. It feels good. Just have to be patient until the greens heal.
