Played with Bernie and his friend Mark. Played fairly well again. Blue tees on par 3s still playing all the way back of on the black tee boxes. For the 7th or 8th round in a row, had to hit fairway woods on all the par 3s.
Rode alone so was able to focus on my game more. Best round with Bernie in awhile. He played with Mark from the whites and still outdrove them both a bunch of times.
Greens were faster than I was expecting on the first hole. Blew my first putt about 6 feet past and ended with a 3 putt bogey. After that, I got a good handle on the speed and putted well. Had one other 3-putt, which was also on a GIR, on 12th. Deserved a par after my 190 yard approach to 15 feet, but had a very tricky, double-breaking, downhill first putt. Sniffed the hole, but rolled 5 feet by and missed the comebacker.
Overall, a decent round and score.
