Another slow day out there. Asian group clogged up everything.
Low 70s and cloudy. Got breezy on the back.
Continued 70-80% effort through the ball and it continued to pay off all day. Driver was pretty good, but have to keep it in the fairway more. Missed both left and right, but neither was far off. Only real disappointing shot was 2nd shot on 18th. After waiting for about 5 minutes to finally make the shot due to the Asians taking forever on the green and holding up the two hackers in front of me, I made a decent swing with 3W, but got it a little fat, losing me 40 or 50 yards on the shot and requiring a much longer approach with my 3rd. Had about 150 uphill so took an extra club, but should have taken two extra. 5i got up in the wind and plugged in the back of the front bunker, just under the lip. Impossible to get it from there to the back pin, but was able to pop it out and actual onto the green, albeit about 80 feet away. 3 putt ended in double, the only one of the day. I had a penalty on par 3 6th and still walked away with bogey there. Drew my 5i off the tee too far left. Bounced into water. Penalty/drop, chip to 1 foot to save bogey.
Pulled my 7i on par 3 15th a touch. Was pin high, but landed in bunker. Nice 58* to 3 feet and a par save. Got up and down a lot today.
Birdie on Par 3 8th. Uphill into wind. 5W dead at pin. Ballmark 3 feet before pin, ball ended up 7 feet past. Tricky downhill putt. Dead center.
Love this new tempo. No jumping at the ball in transition. What a difference.
