Raining for 4th day straight but decided to give it a shot when things lightened up. Though it rained a little, got in 18 in about 3 hours without getting too wet. It has been cart path only since Saturday. The course was super wet and muddy. Played extremely long as a result. Typical drives left deep ball marks in the soft fairways and ended up within a yard or two of where they hit. No roll-out at all.
Though I missed a lot of fairways and greens, I played fairly well. Greens were extremely slow due to the wetness. They have not mowed as a result of the wetness, adding to the slowness. Took a few holes to realize how hard to hit it on the greens. By the back, I figured it out and got up and down a lot. Birdied the tough 12th. Hit a nice hybrid approach from the right rough to about 15 feet and then made a great putt.
A bit disappointed with the front nine score. I played better than that. Happy with the back, but would have been happier with a couple more GIRs.
Course FELT like it played about 6800 yards!
