After playing the front nine yesterday in the rain, went out and played the back nine in the rain today. Played awesomely well, even though the course is extremely wet and playing very long as a result. My iron play continues to shine.
Looks like rain a lot this week, so figured when it let up a bit today, it might be my only window for a few days. It drizzled most of the nine, but rained a little heavier than that at times. But, nothing like the pouring rain we have had since last night. Bunkers were all lakes. Luckily stayed out of the greenside ones, but found the left fairway bunker off the 13th tee. I had to find an area in that one to take a drop away from the water. Should have used more loft, but got greedy and tried to get out with hybrid. Hit the lip and went maybe 30 yards forward. Then from there hit a 3W into right fairway bunker 80 yards out, which was also full of water. Made a decent shot to 9 feet, but missed the par saver by an inch or two. Only real trouble of the round. Considering the poor conditions, played excellent.
