Went up at 5 pm to play a few holes and practice, but since I started par, par, decided to play nine. Course still damp and playing long. Cart path only 1-5. Hit 2 or 3 really nice hybrid approach shots. Made a great sand save on 7th from greenside bunker. Almost holed it. Ended up 1 ft away from hole for easy tap in par. Really feeling the extra distance needed off the tee with the course being so damp. Hitting good drives but getting nearly zero roll. Hit a really good drive on 3rd which should have given me a real shot at getting there in two, but with no rollout, felt I shouldn't take the chance. Overall, hit irons well and putted pretty well. Did a bunch of scrambling. Saved a couple pars with short game.
