Started at 50° with only a whisper of a breeze. My iron play was much improved but I felt a little "out of touch" with my putter. I made a few mental errors during the round that really sort of made me feel as though I wasn't scoring as well as I could have been, but that wasn't the case when I tallied the score at the end of the round. It is amazing how your perception is thrown off kilter just because of a small error, and it wasn't even that big of a deal. The double on #4 really pissed me off. I hit the fairway from the tee and only had a 7 iron for my approach. I promptly hit what I thought was a good shot, only to have it draw slightly, hit the the side of the green and trickle down the slope into the water. Not nice! Still, a good round and, in retrospect, I'm happy with the outcome. Getting spoiled? Maybe, and I'm loving it!!!
