Started at 55° with a 3 mph breeze, which quickly escalated to 13 mph. Doubled the first hole (which is never a good sign) but righted the ship, somewhat. My GIR was really poor, but then, so were a lot of things. The 8th hole continues to be troublesome, but I honestly don't believe it is entirely my doing. My tee shot fond the right bunker, hit an outstanding bunker shot which nearly kissed the edge of the hole (it was just creeping by when it did) and my next shot was from 4' off the front of the green! That seems to be the same problem as with many holes and is why I contend that it is nearly impossible to control your ball on the greens. I hope it is due to the "transitional season," but we shall see. It wasn't a bad day, really, but my mental game was exercised to the max. Still happy though!
