Started at 55° with a slight 3 mph breeze, and it absolutely beautiful! This was the first round in nearly a week, so "rust" could have been there. Tough day all around, and not just for me but everybody had a tough day. My iron play is still a trouble spot for me for some reason. My chipping and pitching is acceptable and my putting is spotty at present. Irregardless, it was a pleasant day with good company. I may have some angst with parts of my game, but I sure loved being out there and getting irritated with it. I know that my game with come back to life so a little patience at this point my be just what I need--at least that is what I'm telling myself. Tomorrow is another day and another round, but I'm going to Neches Pines in Diboll, Tx to play since there is another tourney at my course. I like to "travel" anyway. I'm staying upbeat and positive!
