Started at 76° with a 5 mph breeze. Didn't start the way I would have liked, but it seemed as though an error would occur just as I was starting to break through. It was frustrating, but then I've been down that road before. The "fog" seemed to lift after the horrible 9th hole, and I played very much like I was to from the start. I believe that the problem lies with the swing I use for the irons for some reason. I made a slight adjustment to my ball position and then everything "clicked." I was managing to stay over the ball a fraction longer and I lost the fade with the irons and they were long and straight. I could have been getting my hips out too early and blocked the ball. So, the key now is to cover the ball a little longer and then release. We'll see how that works out tomorrow--if we're able to play (weather). I can't hardly wait! Maybe one of these days I'll learn how to play this game! :)
