Started at 78°, humid and a 3 mph breeze. Played like a "dog!" My driver was 46" but I had it cut down to 45" as I felt like I was just too far away. Well, this was the first round with the new length and it showed. Not only were my stats down, but I was not prepared for the new stiffness in the shaft. I was completely thrown out of sync by the change (I should have had a range session before trying to play it). Luckily, I closed strong with the two birdies to salvage and otherwise poor round. Shame on me! All things considered, not really a "bad" round, just an uncomfortable one, and one where I was challenged to maintain a good attitude. I feel as though I was successful in that dept. Better days are ahead!
