Started at 82°, overcast, humid and a slight 3 mph breeze. When I got up this morning I told Sharon that I was going to play great today. I told her that a couple of times before I left. I really believed that it was true, then produced and even par outward nine! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to duplicate it on the inward half, but I did maintain a positive attitude all day. I made good improvement in adapting to the "new" driver length, but the 3 3-putts helped ruin my efforts toward a "great" round. Just the same, I am very pleased with not only the round but also with the fact that I woke up with a positive attitude despite the poor round yesterday. The power of positive thinking! God, I love this game--both the good times and the bad! :)
