Started at 82°, overcast and very humid. I had a decent start but was derailed a bit by a lightning delay of about 30 minutes after my tee shot on #4. On the restart I hit my approach from an uphill lie that struck the flag stick, wrapped itself in the flag and fell to 4'. I made the putt but promptly doubled the next hole! Go figure. The inward nine was a mixed bag of good shots, bad shots and others, but I closed with another birdie (my fourth of the round) and finished the day +7. Not too shabby, all things considered. Again, I was able to maintain a positive attitude, even when things started "going South." I am really happy right now! :)
