Started at 71°, humid and only a slight breeze. Although the score is acceptable (numerically) there were a lot of putts inside 6' (5) that I missed and shouldn't have, and at least 2 chips that kissed the hole but fail to fall (I missed the comeback putt). I'm not angry about it because there are going to be days like that, but that doesn't ease the frustration level any. I've worked hard on my putting and to miss putts like that is... I discovered, again, that I have been fanning my hands open during the takeaway and been unable to return them back to square at impact, consequently I'm missing shots right. That also is a source of frustration as I thought that I had that "fixed," but evidently not. So, I've got some work to do. Friday, a new usual golf day, will be spent at the range as the course is closed for yet another tournament. I have/need to put some work in before I play again on Sunday. Overall, I'm pretty happy though.
