Started at 67°, slightly humid and a 1 mph breeze. I got off to a fairly good start, hit a pretty good approach to #4 but found that I had hit the ball too far with my usual club. That became, pretty much, the theme of the day. I was striking the ball with a slower, more rhythmic swing, and the ball was flying further than anticipated (a nice problem to have, unless, of course, you're trying to score). Consequently, a lot of pressure was put on my short game, and the results were mixed at best. My putting was ok, but I did miss 4 putts inside 6'(3 of which were inside 4') and that really "chaps my hide!" All in all it was a pretty good day. I can always find areas that I'm not totally satisfied with, but it just hard to nitpick a score like this. I'm a happy camper!
