Started at 51° overcast with an 8 mph breeze, which accelerated to 13 mph by the 4th hole. My putting failed me some today...missed 3 "make-ables" on the outward nine for birdies and another 2 on the inward half (all short and in the jaws). I believe I was trying to be a bit too careful with them, hence their shortness. My pitch/chip shots were less that stellar which resulted in some longer putts that I have been used to lately. It wasn't a bad day all things considered, so I won't complain. I just need to pay more attention and get a little more consistent with some of my shots, and then I'll be happier. I'm still walking around with a silly grin on my face, so it isn't like I'm displeased, just a bit of the perfectionist showing.
