Started at 71°, overcast and a slight 3 mph breeze; however, by the 16th hole it was a cool 61° with a 12 mph breeze. I guess Winter is here. My driver showed up like a "boss" today, but my irons were absolutely pathetic. My goal over the Winter is to improve my iron play dramatically. My putting was spotty, at best, but I did make a few that normally stay out, so I guess I can't complain too much. The most troubling aspect of today's round was the fact that I am still in "unchartered waters" as to distance with my irons--I'm either too short or too long with not much in between. Another area to work on during the winter. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the result but the process needs to be refined some, but my attitude is, as always, optimistic. I love this game!
