Started at 40°, sunshine and an 8 mph breeze. By the end of the round it was 46° with a 4 mph breeze. Today I managed to solve several mysteries about my game, the biggest being that I had, for some unknown reason, started "chopping the ball" (no extension in the backswing). This had bled over to all my shots! I didn't discover this until after the 10th hole, so once I corrected this my score vastly improved. It was like a "tale of two nines," only it was 10 holes. This remedy cut my Prox to Hole in half, improved my putting stats, and generally improved everything! To quote a famous golfer, "What a stupid I am!" All things considered, it was a great day (if I can remember the fix for my next round) and one that solves so many problems. Now to tackle my iron play. No golf for me until Sunday, as they have yet another tournament on Friday. I so happy I could just slap myself! :)
