Started at 47°, overcast skies and a gentle 3 MPH breeze. Today was filled with plenty of "ups and downs," but most golf rounds are I believe. My driver remained "golden" for me, as did my mental game, but the rest was a challenge. I was able to maintain my mental equilibrium through the challenges, and that served me well throughout the round. I flushed my irons all day, but nature and a small set of errors denied me of more GIRs. It has to be that way of this game would be too easy, well, easier anyway, and it is the challenges that we seek to defeat anyway. I'm very pleased with my results today! I'm hoping to improve in several areas tomorrow, but whatever happens happens but it won't be from lack of effort!
