Started at 61°, overcast skies with a slight mist and an 8 MPH breeze. This was a day that I failed to keep my mental game in tact. It all started on the first hole when I hit my approach shot into the creek (a fat shot) and it didn't get much better from that point. I was able to re-establish my mental game on the inward half, but by then the round was lost. I very nearly aced the Par 3 15th hole, leaving the shot in direct line with the hole but 6" short. The very next hole I hit a 7 iron approach from 150 yds and flew the green. Go figure. Anyway, I'll chew this round for a little bit and then it'll find it's way into the circular file. My next round is Tuesday--weather permitting.
