Started at 78°, mostly cloudy and a 10 mph breeze blowing. I began the day playing with two guys from our group, but they quit after 10 holes. They came up with some excuses, but if the truth be told the pace of play was too slow for their liking. I joined up with the group behind us (a threesome), also guys I know and it included a guy that likes to boast about how good he is. He has even talked smack about me, so this was a challenge that I readily accepted. I never said a word about his game, but I made sure that he had to hit before me, and his friends took notice. At the end of the round he had to pay me off on the bets that he lost to me, and the funny thing is he had to shut his mouth! Needless to say, I had a good day and was able to recover my form after yesterday's fiasco. All this was off the "white" tees, so the "flat-bellies" can't be saying too much since they had an "old man" hand them their hat! A great day, in more ways than one!
