Nice course. was in great shape for a fall round in late september. There are five tee boxes, so it's nice to have options on how you want to play the course. A lot of water hazards and OB marsh land.
A number of holes put you in a "risk-reward" situation on club choice from the tee. Hole #1 as an example. Water comes in to play if you hit it long. I have a great 220 yard drive (white tees) straight up the fairway. Well...that was 5 yards too long and put me in the drink!
One of those course where it helps to be golfing with someone who knows the course, or take a GPS that can read distances to hazards.
Carts do come with yardage GPS units.
Fairways were in great shape, bunkers have nice soft sand, rough was just right (think enough to affect your shots, but not so long it harshly punishes you and your score), tee boxes were in great shape.
My only complaints are pace of play and green consistency. The club house manager and scorecard all seem to suggest they are strict about "4 hour round" pace of play. But the day we were there they seemed over-booked and pace was slow. And the greens were very inconsistant in terms of speed and condition. But...that's typical fall golf.
Overall, a nice course. Very nice Club House. Was in great shape. Beautiful scenery.
