This course is one of several in the area designed by architect Tripp Davis and located near Lake Lewisville, approximately 28 miles north of downtown Dallas. The course was designed to echo courses located both in Scotland and on California's Monterey Peninsula. The wind factor changes every two holes, while the par-5 9th & 18th holes are meant to echo Harbour Town and Pebble Beach.

The standard rates (with ½-cart) are $32 on weekdays, then $44 on weekends. Junior, senior, early-bird, and twilight rates are available, as are memberships.
