I haven't played here for many years but was looking for somewhere "cheap and cheerful" as our course was again closed due to snow and waterlogging. A bit boggy in places,especially if you missed the fairway!! However, overall pleasantly surprised with condition and at £12.50 per round real value for money (even cheaper if a 4 -ball or after 12 noon). Only pity was too many people obviously didn't repair pitch marks.

greens not been cut for weeks or the fairways couldn't see any difference between the first cut and in places the rough.wide fairways,but nice par 3's would not rush back for a second round

A lovely course, with some stunning holes e.g. 7, 10, 12 and 17. The greens leave something to be desired, but you can't beat it for value or the welcome.
