Architect Cabel E. Robinson designed this 18-hole course, while plays through a 200-year-old country estate with excellent views of the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. The course has an interesting blend of different holes, alternating between flat and tumbling terrain with some holes sheltered by trees and others that are exposed to the winds. Palheiro has no water hazards, but does include 119 bunkers.
