A VERY hilly track
If you carry you have to be fit and take plenty of fluids
Not 1 flat lie on the course, ALL your shots will be played with the ball either above or below and on a slide lie to your stance
A lot of the holes are blind shots, this is why you have your Skycaddie
The greens are lighting fast in summer with tricky breaks that can deceive you very easy, land your ball short as it WILL run on
Lots of trees on virtually every hole, this combined with the slopes that will throw your ball makes you think
The bunkers are not the best feature of the course, a covering of sand in some so be prepared to play off hard pan and assess the situation before playing your shot as your club will bounce very easy.
Only 3 par 3s, the first 1st being a little none descript, downhill stroke index 18.
The second being stroke index 15 with a bank at the side, you can use this.
The 17th is a very nice par 3, downhill 170 - 202 yard. Trees to the right trees to the left a valley in front that leads to a very steep raised green (it’s on the side of a hill!) with a bank at the back of the green a place you don’t want to be. If you are then you have a big problem as the green slopes away and you will have difficulty stopping the ball running off the green and down the ski slope bank, by the way it is of course protected by bunkers on the approach slope. This hole is a card wrecker but fantastic if you get it right and worth playing the track for this hole alone.

Very hilly with a lot of blind holes, a course from the early 1900's designed for the thinker not power driving. Not a bad track but you will enjoy it more the second time you play it.
