We played the Ranch Course. The fee was a summer rate of 30$, great value for the money. The course is in great condition. The greens were in good shape. The practice facilities are superb, with free range balls, practice bunker and a large putting green. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of water and restrooms on the course. Pace of play was excellent. The one issue is that we were a foursome. Three twosomes and three singles tee'd off behind us. Nobody would pair up. We played in a little under four hours and let two twosomes play thru so we were not as rushed. The ranger was friendly and commented on how quick we were with the non foursomes behind us. You cannot beat the views on this gem,. Worth the trip to Fountain Hills. A great value in the summer.

Advertised on golfnow.com as taking pay per play green fees but once on course the Marshall kept bugging the hell out of us saying we were holding up members. A foursome trying to stay ahead of 4 seperate groups of twosomes behind us. Marshall said he couldn't tell them to pair up because they're members....better places to play at better prices and without the hassle of dealing with members that can't afford their own course and are pissed that they have to have pay per play players on the course.
