Nice layout. Upkeep seems better than prior years. Good value. Sand traps could use a little work. As a previous reviewer said, you will use all the clubs in your bag.

Can be slow on weekends. Not a bad track, you will use every club in your bag.

Played this course many times before the state bought it. It was a decent course but not now. The greens were ok but the rest of the course was awful. The fairways were all crab grass and uncut. It was hard to tell where the fairway ended and the rough began. I even had a hard time finding my ball on one FAIRWAY the crabgrass was so high. And forget about finding sand in the sandtraps. The state is definitely not putting any money into what once was a decent course.

New owners are doing a wonderful job getting the course back in shape. Greens are coming along fine, tee boxes leveled and sodded. 100% improvement
