Saved weight is redistributed to give the Burner Tour a 17% lower CG (center of gravity) than the previous Burner, promoting a higher launch and higher flight for more carry and distance. Meanwhile, the fast-looking triangular shaped head permits an even lower CG placement, making it even easier to get a solid launch.
Justae54 - 12/12/12 after researching reviews and specs the burner tour launch sound like it would be right for me. Got one used of ebay and gave it a thorough test and compare at the range. 3 hours later I can confidenly say this is the best 3 wood for my game right now. The ball flight is a flatter trajectory but still gets up well. Can be worked both ways with a little effort although you work a little harder for fades. I love the 14.5* loft...it's just different. Distance is well above your average 3w. The shape, size and feel at address is a thing of beauty. You feel like there's nothing you can't do with this club.
