Rough is thick and in great shape, greens were running about 10 but in typical shape for a public track as well as fairways. People just don't fix ball marks and repair divots.

Incredibly well run course. They tackle some little details that you generally only really find at a private club. I will go back, for sure.

Played the course the day after Fred Couples was a co-leader in the 2012 Masters Tournament (day two of the tournament). Staff at course was very upbeat and friendly. Was paired with friendly and pleasant people - course was in great shape - greens were fast and tough. Scenery gave this out-of-stater a great view of southern landscape, foliage and birds. Would return in a minute.

All and all it was a nice course but the greens where very, very fast so a chip shot just off the greens don't stand a chance of hanging on much less getting close to the pin or even staying anywhere near the pin. I also think it's very overpriced, i've played at courses in the same price range and they had sky caddies on all the carts at least.

overpriced, but the course is located in an area rich with civil war history. pace of play was superb with marshalls patroling the course. a much better track than twin lakes located right down the street.
